I’ll Share Your Tips, and Let People Learn More About You!
All of us is smarter than any of us. I heard that somewhere long ago and it has always stuck with me. And last week, while I was writing the post on tips for new business owners, I started to think about the incredible number and variety of the businesses we have as customers of Superior Business Solutions. From start-ups to well-known legendary companies, and from business that are all “office” to those that don’t have a desk in the place.
So it occurred to me I should be collecting advice, not just offering it. So, that’s what I’d like to do. You’ve had successes based on hard work and brilliant ideas – and you’ve had setbacks based on things beyond your control and things that, well – were not. So you are an expert.
Have any stories or suggestions you’d like to share? Do you have any “lessons learned” you’d be willing to pass along to other business owners? Sometime in the next few weeks, I plan to write a post detailing what I’ve heard from you. In that post, I’d be happy to link to any websites or articles you’ve found particularly helpful and to your website or social profile, if you like.
This is kind of an experiment, so I hope you’ll help me out. It doesn’t have to be a big, cosmic thought (although those are certainly welcome). Maybe it’s just “provide coffee for employees” or “leave your business brain at home when you walk the dog.” But I’m just interested in anything you’d like to offer up.
I will give you one little hint, though. I’ve read in many places that you can gain many more connections and business networking opportunities by participating in social media, and making insightful comments on blogs (like, say, this one).
So, no pressure – but I’d sure love to hear from you in the next week or two. Just leave your comment in the “Comments” section below this post, and don’t forget to include your website or social media profile. If you’d prefer to keep things a little more private, just contact me here with your thoughts.
This could lead to some pretty interesting discussions, and you never know – when you offer up some of your good suggestions, you just might get a few you can use in your business.
